EDGARDO NÚÑEZ CABALLERO (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1981) is the author of Esa arena que caía en los relojes (Premio Olga Nolla de Poesía, El Nuevo Día, 2002), La alegría criminal de los parques (Rue Didot, 2008), and Paisaje con fieras (Premio Farolito Azul, Ediciones Callejón, 2013). He studied Comparative Literature at the University of Puerto Rico (BA), Hispanic Literatures at the University of Salamanca (DEA), and Creative Writing at New York University (MFA). His work has appeared in the journals Hotel Abismo (San Juan, Puerto Rico), Mordisco (Sevilla, Spain), jubilat (Amherst, USA), Retorno (San Juan, Puerto Rico), and Esferas (New York, USA), among others. He has been a guitarist and singer for Los Bluechachos and Hora Libre.

El futuro de la música received an Honorable Mention in the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture’s National Literature Awards in 2020. It is available now from Ediciones del Flamboyán.
